Soromundi’s 2019-20 season was meant to celebrate 30 years of singing and community. We planned a tour to Northern California, a spring concert featuring our greatest hits, and a fourth recording to be available digitally as well as in CD format. Well, the pandemic put paid to that! However, there are many ways to celebrate Soromundi’s 30th Anniversary.
On May 15, 2021, Soromundi Lesbian Chorus of Eugene will host an online 30-year Retrospective. This free event will be held via Zoom from 7 to 9 p.m. The evening will feature historical photos, music, a panel-discussion with founder Karm Hagedorn and Music & Artistic Director, Lisa Hellemn, and more. Kate Barry, Soromundi’s Board President will MC. Join us for lots of laughs, music and highlights from the past 30-plus years of singing and performing together.
