On May 15, 2021, Soromundi Lesbian Chorus of Eugene will host an online 30-year Retrospective. This free event will be held via Zoom from 7 to 9 p.m. The evening will feature historical photos, music, a panel-discussion with founder Karm Hagedorn and Music & Artistic Director, Lisa Hellemn, and more.
Several past and present Soromundi members are featured as part of a local oral history project designed to preserve the rich history of the Eugene lesbian community.
Soromundi’s Diversity Committee has been working behind the scenes to gather some resources we all can use in our goal of addressing racism. We will be adding to these resources over time but feel these recommendations from The Schomburg Center are a great place to dive in. Feel free to check them out
