As we head toward Spring, it’s time for our annual Winter Concert. This year we share the stage with In Accord, a secular community choir that performs socially relevant songs acapella. We’ve sung before with In Accord, and we look forward to a wonderful evening. We will be previewing this season’s theme, “Return to Broadway,” featuring classics as well as contemporary hits.
We are very busy behind the scenes. Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team has engaged the choir in workshop activities to promote heightened sensitivity to inclusion and greater understanding of sexual identity and orientation. Furthermore, we continue to prepare for next year, the 35th Anniversary of Soromundi. We urge all former Mundis (who are able) to participate in the Reunion Choir that is forming.
