The 24-25 concert year will celebrate Soromundi’s 35 years with a reunion choir, and an exhibit of memorabilia. If you’d like to be in the reunion choir or if you have special memorabilia, please email info@soromundi.org and you’ll be contacted directly.
During our song selection for the 22-23 season, the song, “I Lost my Talk” was considered; however,in our ongoing effort to celebrate culture and not appropriate culture, we chose to share the poem onwhich the song is based and a link to the Rita Joe Song Project. UPDATE: Soromundi has made the difficult decision to withdraw from the Albany Winter Showcase, due to a number of respiratory infections in the choir. The HIV Alliance has invited Soromundi, Lesbian Chorus of Eugene, to sing a couple of pieces at the end of the World AIDS Day memorial walk which will begin around 6:45 on Thursday, December 1st. Soromundi is so happy to once again be performing at the Holiday Market after having to cancel the last 2 years due to Covid. We will be performing on November 20 at 12:30 PM.
